Q: In your experience, what is the biggest difference between the MLS and leagues in Europe?
Freddy Adu: The biggest difference is obviously that the game isnt quite at the level it is in some european countries. It will get there within the next few years in my opinion. Our league is young and growing all the time.
Q: Who is your best friend on the team?
FA: I dont have specific best friend on the team but I hang out with guys like Amobi and Sheanon williams and Macmath etc. I also get along very well with the latin guys on the team because I speak spanish as well.
Q: What is your favorite football(American) team?
FA: The redskins are my favorite American football team because i am from that area.
Q: What advice would you give to a teenager thinking of turning pro based on your experiences?
FA: Don’t rush yourself but do it if you feel ready. Confidence is important in this situation and if you are that confident you can do it then go for it but listen to your family because their advice is priceless.
Q: what motivates you?
FA: The fear of failure motivates me. I dont ever want to fail in anything I do and will do whatever it takes not to fail.
